Team KAMAZ quits Trans Orientale
In the evening, Vladimir Chagin announced his decision to withdraw from the event, subsequent to the dramatic accident in which he was involved. The entire Kamaz team also withdrew from the race as an expression of solidarity, as indicated by Semen Yakoubov, the Russian team manager, during the daily briefing with René Metge.
