Mind the ridges!
A few cathedral sand dunes - located at the end of the first series of dunes around km 32 of today's special stage - have particularly sharp ridges and are pretty tricky for amateur riders. We shall see what happens when the main group of cars and trucks hits those dunes... they might get bogged down in there for awhile as well...
